Saka had to pull out of the recent England squad with a hamstring issue and is training on his own at Arsenal.
Smith Rowe, meanwhile, had a hip problem while away with the England Under-21 squad and needs to be assessed before the weekend.
The pairs’ absence would provide opportunities for others to shine, namely Nicolas Pepe – who came off the bench and impressed against West Ham last time out.
Alexandre Lacazette will hope to still lead the line in attack, with two goals in his last two games, and that means Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang may start out left.
In defence, Gabriel and David Luiz should be reunited at centre-back. The right-back slot is wide open, with Calum Chambers excelling against West Ham.
Arsenal likely XI: Leno; Bellerin, Luiz, Gabriel, Tierney; Partey, Xhaka; Pepe, Odegaard, Aubameyang; Lacazette.
